Your Tasks

We are looking for someone who is curious about the role of school counselor at a primary school in Eskilstuna. This assignment can vary in length and scope.

In the role of school counselor, you will work within the school's student health with promoting and preventive efforts. You will meet students individually or in groups for supportive and advisory conversations. You have previous experience in handling problematic absenteeism and bullying cases. It is an advantage if you have prior experience in the profession. For those who are self-employed, there is also the possibility to work as a subcontractor.

Your Profile

We are looking for an experienced school counselor with experience working with youth or young adults. To succeed in the role of counselor, we see that you are an educated social worker, behavioral scientist, or have another education that is deemed equivalent.

As a person, you find it easy to create trusting relationships and enjoy meeting people. You have a solution-oriented attitude and good collaboration skills. Furthermore, you have a good ability to work independently and prioritize your tasks with good computer skills. You have good knowledge of the Swedish language and can express yourself in speech and writing. It is an advantage if you have knowledge of other languages.
