About us

Frostbrunnsgården HVB is a smaller and family-oriented residence in Borlänge municipality with eight places. The target group is boys aged 13 - 17 years with various forms of psychosocial issues such as early criminality, acting out behavior, staying in unsuitable environments, interrupted schooling, and dysfunctional family relationships. It is common for the youths to have some neuropsychiatric diagnosis, such as ADHD.

We are a professional and secure team focused on being there for the youths and helping them get good conditions based on their abilities and needs in life. We primarily work based on learning psychological principles and evidence-based methods with a focus on CBT. Other parts of our treatment plan mainly include RePULSE and Criminality as a Lifestyle. We start from a low-affective approach and response.

About the role

We are now looking for a treatment pedagogue who wants to work waking night.

Your main tasks include:

• Creating and ensuring safety through supervision and response during the night
• Being responsible for the cleaning tasks and self-checks required by the assignment
• Documenting in accordance with our routines
• Administering medication according to prescription after delegation from a nurse

The position is a permanent employment of about 69%. Work takes place during the night with shifts on weekdays and every third weekend. Salary is according to agreement and other compensations are according to collective agreements. Start date is according to agreement.

Who are you?

As a person, you are responsible, relationship-building, flexible, and secure. In the role, it is important that you show great empathy while having the ability to set boundaries when needed. The work involves close and trusting collaboration with your colleagues, and therefore you have good communication and collaboration skills. We place great emphasis on personal suitability. A criminal record extract will be required before employment.

To apply for the position, you must:

• Have at least a 2-year post-secondary education as a social/ treatment pedagogue, social worker, or similar. Proof in the form of a diploma is required.
• Have experience in treatment work
• Have good knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing
• Have good system skills as documentation occurs to a high extent
• Have a B driver's license
