We are looking for a full-time school counselor to join our Student Health Team at Internationella Engelska Skolan in Huddinge!

Internationella Engelska Skolan Huddinge is a primary school with 530 students in grades 6-9. The school is located between Visättra and Solgård in Huddinge, a growing area undergoing exciting development.

Qualifications: We prefer that you are a trained counselor or have a similar education in behavioral science, sociology, or similar. Experience working with children and adolescents in schools or other areas is desirable. Previous experience as a school counselor or similar work is a merit, but not a requirement.

Your experience in preventive and health-promoting work focused on children and adolescents at the organizational, group, and individual levels is valuable and meritorious, as is experience with ProRenata, our digital journal program.

We value your ability to work both independently and in a team, which requires security and flexibility. Great emphasis is placed on experience and personal suitability. As a school counselor, you represent the psychosocial competence in the school's Student Health Team and work with health-promoting, preventive, and remedial measures at the individual, group, and organizational levels.

You will collaborate with our school nurse, special educator, study support team, as well as school psychologist and school doctor as needed regarding students in grades 6-9. You will have close cooperation with the deputy principal and together with them drive and develop the student health work together with others. This includes, among other things, teaching directed at students as well as information to staff.

The position is a temporary position for about six months starting January 7, 2026.
