Nature, gardening, and cultivation are the guiding principles for Unika Nimbus daily activities, located on a beautiful old Skåne farm in Stångby parish outside Lund. Since the unit is located in the countryside, a driving license is required to work here, both for transporting participants to activities in our vehicles and for commuting to the location. Currently, there are 16 participants within LSS group 1 who have their daily jobs with us. There are also rabbits. We have many outdoor activities, so it is important that you as staff enjoy being outside. We are now looking for someone who wants to work as a substitute.

As a support assistant, you will work to provide individually tailored support to individuals with disabilities, aiming to promote their independence and well-being in daily life. You will assist users in their daily routines and activities based on their needs and abilities, always using their personal implementation plan as a starting point.

We work with a salutogenic and pedagogical approach, focusing on each individual's unique strengths and resources. The goal is for users to achieve as much independence as possible and to live a meaningful life with high quality of life. As a support assistant, you will work based on clear pedagogical principles and low-arousal responses to create safety and predictability in users' daily lives. At the same time, we have a strong focus on working professionally and effectively within the resources and budget of the organization.

Qualifications Required 

• Very good proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written.
• DRIVER'S LICENSE
• Good computer skills, experience with documentation.
• Experience in healthcare and social services.
• High school education, such as child and leisure program, healthcare and social services program.

Desirable qualifications 

• Experience in psychiatry, AAC, and low-arousal responses.
• Experience working with complex support needs.
