Åkerskolan is an F-6 primary school and adapted primary school 1-6 with an associated after-school program. The school is beautifully located near diverse nature in Nässjö municipality.

To realize this, the municipal council has adopted a strategic and long-term development plan for preschool and school in Nässjö municipality.

Within the Department of Children and Education, we consciously and purposefully work to provide every child and student with the tools needed to seek knowledge in life. The goal is for every child and student to develop according to their conditions and feel joy and pride in their successes.

RESPONSIBILITIES

As an after-school educator, you will support children's development and practically work with the school's curriculum. The work involves teaching and organizing activities for students in primary school and the after-school program. The activities are conducted both indoors and outdoors.

Together with other educators, you are responsible for a good and qualitative after-school program. Your mission is to stimulate students' development and learning and to offer them meaningful leisure and recreation. You should work to promote diverse contacts and social community.

The Department of Children and Education actively works to increase the proportion of men working in schools. Therefore, we welcome male applicants.

QUALIFICATIONS

Åkerskolan is growing, and we need to expand our organization by recruiting more teachers. We are looking for someone who is a qualified teacher in after-school programs. Personal suitability is important, and we believe this means you have good collaboration skills, are engaged, flexible, and actively work to make the school accessible to all students.
