Sandsborg Montessori Preschool is looking for a qualified Montessori educator for the large department (ages 3–6).

We are looking for someone who is not only interested in Montessori pedagogy but has a solid understanding, education, or several years of practical experience working according to the philosophy and materials of Montessori pedagogy.

You will, in collaboration with other staff, drive and develop the operations at Sandsborg. Together with the board, you will work to create the best conditions for our preschool and for each child's development.

Our preschool is beautifully located in Sigtuna city, on a large natural plot with a view of Lake Mälaren. The premises are spacious, bright, and furnished with complete Montessori materials. We have two departments:

• Small department: 14 children (ages 1–3)
• Large department: 22 children (ages 3–6)

The preschool was established in 1994 and operates as a parent cooperative and economic association.

We are looking for someone who

• Is a qualified Montessori educator or has started training with several years of experience working according to Montessori pedagogy
• Is attentive, flexible, and has an easy time collaborating
• Is engaged, responsible, and has a good sense of humor
• Has several years of experience working as a Montessori educator.
• Wants to create a creative, harmonious, and learning environment based on the principles of Montessori pedagogy and the goals of the curriculum
• Enjoys spending time outdoors and sees nature as part of learning
