Are you an Automation Engineer with a technical education from a university, college, vocational school, or equivalent experience? Are you motivated by new technical solutions and want to help develop automation solutions for our production facility in Karlskrona? Then we might have the right job for you!

The production is committed to staying updated with the latest technology and has developed innovative automation systems for our cable production.

Your main responsibilities will include:

PLC programming and electrical design for machines and production equipment.
Developing small and large automation solutions in project form.
Reviewing and validating automation and electrical design solutions for both new machines and modifications of existing machines.
Providing line support for production and project leading when necessary.

As an Automation Engineer at NKT, you will be an important part of the team in Production Technology Automation & Power Engineering in Karlskrona. We offer a varied and stimulating work environment with a strong sense of community among the department, which consists of several experienced engineers with diverse skills and experiences in electrical design and automation.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following experience:

Technical education from a university, college, vocational school, or equivalent experience.
Experience from the industry or similar.
Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written, is a prerequisite.
