Are you meticulous, analytical, and passionate about quality and clear technical documentation? We are now looking for a Technical Information Specialist / QA Engineer for a leading international company in the automotive industry. We welcome your application.

ABOUT THE POSITION:

As a Technical Information Specialist combined with the role of QA Engineer, you will play a key role in setting new standards for creating a good experience for developers. You will become part of the Developer Portal team where you will work alongside developers, designers, business analysts, and product managers, as well as collaborate with other stakeholders to deliver clear and informative content to our client's developer portals.

You will work with quality standards and processes to create clear documentation for end-users, ensuring that our client's developer portals are well-structured, error-free, and easy to maintain. In this role, quality work, technical documentation, and risk management will be your main tasks.

You will, for example:

  • Drive and support quality and improvement initiatives within the team, including risk management and testing processes.
  • Ensure that technical descriptions, API documentation, and user guides are correct, clear, and meet our client's standards.
  • Write and structure technical information and guides that assist developers and end-users.
  • Work with reviews, usability testing, and quality assurance of content and processes.
  • Participate in the planning phases of development work to ensure and maintain high-quality testing standards throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Be a key person in improving the team's workflows, quality, and user experience.
WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU WHO:
  • Has a college or university degree in IT, systems science, and/or information management.
  • Has several years of experience in quality work, risk management, and QA within software or systems development.
  • Has experience with content management systems (CMS).
  • Experience in writing technical documentation, such as use cases, API descriptions, or developer guides.
  • Possesses an understanding of IT structures and has a good ability to communicate technical content clearly.
  • Has experience with Jira, Confluence, and agile methodologies.
  • Is fluent in English in both spoken and written form as the language is communicated internally as well as externally.

It is an advantage if you:

  • Have work experience in the automotive industry.
  • Have work experience in software development.
  • Have knowledge of AWS, Java, and/or TypeScript.

ABOUT THE EMPLOYMENT:

This is a consulting assignment, which means that you will initially be employed by Friday.

OTHER INFORMATION:
  • Scope: Full-time, possibility of remote work (two days a week).
  • Start: Immediately/According to agreement considering notice period.
  • Location: Gothenburg.
  • Salary: Fixed monthly salary.
