Are you a whiz at automation and enjoy seeing your solutions come to life – both on the screen and in reality? At Elektroautomatik, you will step right into complex projects where technology is at the center and no day is the same. We are looking for someone with a few years of experience who wants to continue developing in an environment where knowledgeable colleagues, large customers, and groundbreaking technology are part of everyday life.
YOUR DAY-TO-DAY
As a programmer with us, you will work on longer projects together with other automation specialists. It’s a delightful mix of desk work, testing in our workshop in Skövde, and commissioning at the customer’s site. You are an important part of the project team, where you collaborate closely with project managers, designers, assemblers, and other programmers.
A project can last several months, sometimes a whole year, giving you plenty of time to really delve into the technology, the customer’s needs, and to deliver a solution you can be proud of. You will program PLCs, work with robots, and often also with vision and servo systems. If you have skills in electrical engineering and pneumatics, that’s a big plus.
As a more experienced programmer, you also have a natural responsibility in the projects and often act as a technical leader. You will help plan, guide junior colleagues, and be an important technical sounding board.
WHO ARE YOU?
You have worked with automation for a while and feel at home in programming environments for PLCs and robots. Perhaps you also have experience with vision, communication solutions, servo systems, or electrical design – these are advantageous but not required.
The most important thing is that you enjoy solving problems, collaborating in teams, and that you thrive on the variety of switching between workshop, office, and customer environments. You are self-driven when needed but also enjoy working closely with others on projects. You see customer contact as a natural part of the job.
You have:
- Several years of experience in PLC programming
- A background in automation and/or robotics
- A good understanding of industrial processes and customer-specific solutions
- Fluency in Swedish and good technical English
