About the position

We are looking for hourly substitutes in support and care services.

Currently, we are seeking hourly substitutes who meet at least one of our desirable qualifications.

The services we are recruiting for are:

• Home care
• Special housing for the elderly
• Day activities (experience required)
• Social psychiatry
• Housing with special services (BMSS)
• Short-term stays, short-term supervision, and housing with special services for children and youth
• Daily activities (experience required)
• Personal assistance

Main job responsibilities

Your role is to be present, support, provide security, give a good reception, and put the individual’s needs and interests at the center. So that each individual, based on their conditions, can have as independent and autonomous a daily life as possible. Therefore, we work according to individual implementation plans, which describe what each service user and care recipient needs in terms of intervention.

Examples of tasks that occur in all services:

• perform and support household and service tasks such as cleaning, shopping, and laundry
• support and motivate in indoor and outdoor activities
• perform health and medical interventions based on delegation
• perform care interventions such as personal hygiene (e.g., showering, toilet visits, etc.), assist with meals based on individual needs
• work in digital systems (Treserva, MCSS, Medvind, among others).

Qualifications

It is important that you are a secure person with the ability to meet service users and care recipients in a professional manner by being attentive and accommodating in your approach. Furthermore, you have a positive view of people with great respect for each individual's need for intervention.

As an employee with us, you are secure and stable as a person. You have the ability to meet tenants/customers in a professional manner by being calm, attentive, and accommodating in your approach. Being responsible for your tasks is a given for you. You collaborate well with others. Furthermore, you have a positive view of people with great respect for each individual's needs. Additionally, you easily adapt to changing circumstances and see opportunities in changes. You master the Swedish language in such a way that you can communicate with tenants/customers and other staff, as well as document in writing what the operation requires. Since the work involves digital documentation in operational systems, good computer skills are required.

Requirements:

• at least 18 years old at the start of employment
• good computer skills
• good knowledge of the Swedish language in both spoken and written form, as it is required that you can communicate with service users and care recipients, relatives, and colleagues, write and take part in documentation and delegation

Desirable:

• high school education: Health and Care Program, Child and Leisure Program with a focus on pedagogy/social work
• experience working with people with functional variations (cognitive/physical)
• experience working in health and care or ongoing studies in behavioral sciences and/or nursing professions
• experience working with individuals with challenging and outwardly aggressive behavior
• driver's license (preferably access to a personal vehicle)
• knowledge of sign language

Scope and start date

Employment type: hourly substitute as needed

Start date: by agreement

Working hours: day/evening/awake night/journal night/weekend
