Driven Nurse Wanted for Home Healthcare Nordost

Are you a driven nurse who wants to feel that you make a difference in your work? Welcome to apply to us at Home Healthcare Nordost!

About the Position

We are currently at the beginning of an exciting development journey – and you have the chance to be part of it from the start! At the beginning of next year, we will move into our new premises in Hälsokvarteret Wadköping. The move opens up new opportunities for collaboration, knowledge exchange, and an even stronger team. The new workplace is designed with activity-based areas that promote collaboration, well-being, and a modern way of working. We are investing in increased digitalization and smarter work processes – and you can help shape the future together with us!

As a nurse in home healthcare, you will be responsible for enrolled patients aged 18 and over who need health and medical care at home. Your role involves being the responsible nurse for care within a geographical area. We work preventively in teams with nurses, occupational therapists, nursing staff, and unit managers to create good and safe care. We also collaborate with doctors and physiotherapists from the region. For us, it is important to base our work on a person-centered and rehabilitative approach with our patients' wishes and needs in focus.

During evenings and weekends, we have a central organization where all home healthcare areas collaborate from the same workplace. This promotes close collegial collaboration, clearer division of labor, and reduced shifts during evenings and weekends. Here you have the opportunity to be part of an engaged workgroup where your skills and ideas as a nurse are valued!

Examples of Responsibilities:

  • decide, implement, and follow up on care measures
  • be responsible for guidance and training in nursing
  • instruct and delegate health and medical tasks to nursing staff
  • document in various quality registers and operational systems
  • participate in and drive continuous improvement and development of our operations

About the Workplace

Currently, we are located at Järntorget, but at the beginning of next year, we will move to completely newly built and fresh premises in Hälsokvarteret Wadköping. There we will share the building with Skebäck Health Center and municipal home care units. Today, we have six nurses, five occupational therapists, two nursing assistants, and one unit manager who together form an experienced and competent workgroup with a great atmosphere. Our catchment area is in Norrcity and the eastern parts of Örebro.

Home healthcare is organized within the Social Administration's area of Care and Support. The operations include care and support, preventive activities, authority exercise in the area, as well as housing placement and housing adaptation. Within the area of Care and Support, we work to support and help people who need care, support, or assistance in their daily lives.
