We are looking for a nurse who wants to be part of our team on ward 93. We are in search of someone who enjoys challenges, has a strong focus on development, and wants to be a part of our team. When you work with us, you will gain solid knowledge in various diagnoses and diseases.

Ward 93 currently has 14 care places, distributed across two care teams that care for patients with kidney diseases, rheumatological diseases, and general medical conditions. The ward also includes a day care unit with 8 places, where patients come during the day for various types of treatments. With us, you will gain a broad foundation in different areas of operation.

The medical area is one of the largest at the university hospital and is organizationally divided into five sections: endocrinology and diabetes, gastroenterology, hematology, nephrology, and general internal medicine. Here, patients with diabetes, gastrointestinal diseases, blood diseases, kidney diseases, and patients needing acute internal medicine care, often elderly and multi-ill patients, are treated. Each section has an outpatient clinic. There are also three wards for admitted patients.

Örebro University Hospital (USÖ) is one of the county's three acute hospitals where we provide advanced healthcare, research, and education. In both 2020 and 2019, USÖ received the prestigious award for Best University Hospital from Dagens Medicin. USÖ won the most significant category of medical quality, had the best results in accessibility, economy, and the category of avoiding pressure ulcers and overcrowding. USÖ also tops the results in the areas of heart, kidney failure, and vascular surgery. USÖ has about 3500 employees. Nurse for Medical Ward 93, USÖ

On ward 93, we offer a stimulating, challenging, and developing job. As a nurse with us, you will lead the care of our patients and be part of the team around the patient working with care, investigations, medical treatments, pre- and post-operative care, and peritoneal dialysis. With us, you will have the opportunity to learn a lot and thus gain a broad foundation to stand on.

We offer everyone an individually tailored onboarding program for 6 weeks. If you are a newly graduated nurse, you will be offered consecutive weeks in the onboarding program to provide you with extra security in your new role with greater access to various support functions such as discharge coordinators, clinical quality nurses, doctors, and managers. The quality nurse will be your mentor who follows and supports you after the introductory program.

Scheduled, day, evening, and weekend shifts. Night shifts as needed. Individual scheduling is applied.
