Do you want to help develop a psychiatric physiotherapy clinic in Örebro County?

We offer a workplace where you are an important part of our physiotherapy team. The workplace offers varied tasks and allows for independent work with personal responsibility, while also benefiting from working in a team with extensive experience in psychiatric physiotherapy.

The physiotherapy department belongs to the Unit for Collaborative Care Psychiatry. Patients come to physiotherapy in two ways: via referral or self-booking through 1177, from the areas belonging to the Psychiatry Department. The catchment area is the entire county. The workgroup will consist of six physiotherapists.

The psychiatry in Region Örebro County is a specialist operation divided into five areas, all with a strong focus on ethics, collaboration, and development, as well as a well-functioning educational and research environment. Together, we are about 900 employees.

At the physiotherapy department, we work to help individuals with psychiatric issues gain a better understanding of their bodies and its reactions related to mental illness/poor health. To achieve this, we work in various ways with movement. We offer both individually tailored interventions and group treatment for patients. Our treatment methods include basic body awareness, mediyoga, physical training, and mindfulness.

Work at various psychiatric clinics in the county may occur.

As we in Psychiatry care about our patients and value patient safety highly, we will request extracts from the suspicion and criminal records from the National Police Board during the recruitment process. We are looking for a licensed physiotherapist. Experience of previous work in psychiatry is highly valued. We seek someone with a strong sense of responsibility, flexibility, and the ability to collaborate with others and share your knowledge and experience. Great importance is placed on personal suitability. Education in basic body awareness, mindfulness, mediyoga, or other body-based therapy, as well as experience in leading groups is advantageous.
