We are looking for an experienced buyer for a company in the construction industry.

About the Role

As a buyer for a company in the construction industry, you will have a broad and varied role and be involved in different projects from start to finish. You will work both strategically and operationally to ensure everything follows the timeline. You will belong to a smaller team where everyone shares business acumen, entrepreneurship, and solid knowledge of the industry. In this role, you will have several different points of contact both internally and externally and work in a flat organization where relationship-building, positivity, and short decision-making paths are highly valued.

The need is long-term, and the idea is that you step into a role as a consultant through us at The Place, with the possibility of being permanently hired by the client company.

Responsibilities

In this role, you will work broadly with purchasing and follow through the entire projects. You will work with:

• Operational purchasing.
• Strategic purchasing.
• Negotiation and contracts.
• Writing and sending requests for proposals.
• Evaluating and compiling bids.
• Pricing and cost analysis.
• Contact with suppliers.

Experience

For this role, a good experience from the construction industry and a solid understanding of the entire purchasing process is required.

You need to have:

• At least 10 years of experience in a similar role within purchasing in the construction industry.
• Experience and knowledge in business, purchasing, evaluations, and requests.
• Very good knowledge of the entire purchasing process.
• Good system proficiency.
• Fluent in Swedish and good knowledge of English.

We are looking for someone with broad knowledge of purchasing from the construction industry who has worked in a broad and business-oriented role. You are good at communicating and have multiple points of contact. You thrive in a role with significant personal responsibility and also contribute positively to the team and the company as a whole. You are humble, meticulous, attentive, and open as a person and enjoy being social and having many contacts.

About the Position

• Consulting assignment with good opportunities for permanent employment.
• Start: Immediately.
• Location: Southern side of Stockholm.
