JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Are you a qualified special education teacher who is passionate about teaching and working with children and adolescents? Do you have a keen sense of how to meet students with various challenges and feel comfortable acting as a bridge between the student and the teaching staff? As a special education teacher at Annaskolan for grades 1-9, the special support primarily focuses on core subjects, but sometimes students also need help in other areas. In addition to teaching, you will also work with educational assessments, action plans, be a member of the student health team, and mentor staff. Are you someone who wants and dares to make a difference?

QUALIFICATIONS

Formal qualifications:

We require that you have a teaching license and qualifications as a special education teacher, or are participating in training aimed at obtaining a special education degree or special pedagogy degree. Previous experience in teaching at the secondary level is an advantage.

Personal qualifications: We are looking for someone who is pedagogical with a good understanding of how individuals absorb knowledge and their different circumstances. You are also flexible and can quickly change your perspective and approach, seeing opportunities in change. You are collaborative and work well with others by listening, showing interest, and respect. You understand the common mission and work to make it as good as possible. Additionally, you are independent and have the courage and ability to make your own decisions within the framework of your assignment without relying on others. You take responsibility for your tasks and drive the work forward.
