About the Position

Lv 6 Logistics Unit is seeking a Deputy Section Chief for the Ammunition and Weapon Section in Halmstad. The section is responsible for the daily handling and storage of ammunition, weapons, and related materials.

We are now looking for a new colleague for the role of Deputy Section Chief for the Ammunition and Weapon Section, where the task is to assist the Section Chief in delivering logistics support to the units at Halmstad Garrison.

Main Responsibilities

Our daily work is characterized by varied tasks, forward-thinking, and teamwork. The position involves daily contact with our customers at the service/ammunition counter. We provide service in the form of receiving and issuing ammunition and weapons, as well as other related materials. The job also includes inventory, supplier orders, and administrative tasks in our accounting systems LIFT and PRIO (SAP). The team currently consists of six people.

Attributes and Experience

We are looking for someone who is responsible and has a sense of order and service. You enjoy working both administratively and practically, and we see initiative and collaboration skills as two important attributes. Good computer skills and experience with administrative tasks are therefore a requirement. Since the position can be physically demanding, we also expect you to engage in some form of wellness activities to consciously promote good health for yourself. Additionally, you should be able to express yourself well in both spoken and written form, in both Swedish and English.

Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

Qualifications

Driving license B
High school education
Good computer skills
Experience in administrative work

Meritorious

Previous education or experience as a manager, team leader, or other relevant education/experience
Previous experience in accounting, service, storage work, and knowledge of military materials
Completed Basic Military Training/National Service with a passing result
Driving license C
Driving license CE
Training certificate ADR basic and class 1
Military driver's license
Authorization for support legs and counterbalance forklift
Experience with the Armed Forces' accounting systems PRIO and LIFT

Individual salary setting applies.

Work Location

Halmstad. Travel and short-term assignments at other locations may occur.
