Technical Manager for Willhem in Halmstad

Do you want to work for sustainable properties and have knowledge and interest in technology? Willhem is now taking action to renovate its property portfolio both operationally and technically and is establishing a new role as a technical manager. We are looking for someone who, with your technical expertise, wants to make a difference on our journey forward!

Willhem Halmstad owns and manages close to 3000 apartments and a small portion of commercial premises. The portfolio is located in various parts of Halmstad and consists of both older and newly produced properties. As a technical manager, you will work across our entire portfolio. You will be welcomed to a team of about 20 colleagues consisting of property manager, administrators, assistant administrators, and caretakers.

About the Role

As a technical manager, your focus will be on well-being and long-term sustainable properties, and your construction technical knowledge will be a valuable contribution to Halmstad's management. You will be responsible for maintaining and developing our portfolio cost-effectively and with high-quality operations. In your role, you will carry out several projects in our portfolio. An important part will be, based on your holistic perspective, to assess which efforts are most beneficial in achieving our business goals. As a technical manager, you will have a close collaboration with colleagues in the management, we work as a team and not just manage, we develop! You will be an important part of Halmstad's management team and you will report to the Property Manager.

Examples of tasks:

· Damage management, plan and drive small projects

· Plan and drive small projects in operation, maintenance, and renovation.

· Participate in the procurement of framework agreements

· Be an active part of Willhem Halmstad's maintenance and business planning

· Handle insurance cases in connection with damages

· Ensure that regulatory requirements are met, plan and budget for measures

· Support and further develop caretakers in their daily work.

Your profile

We are looking for someone with relevant post-secondary education in, for example, project management, building technology, or management, or equivalent work experience.

To succeed in the role, we see that you have several years of work experience that has given you the knowledge to drive small projects and handle damages with accompanying insurance cases. You have an understanding of the entirety of management, which helps you prioritize and make the best decisions based on the situation. If you also have knowledge in operation and energy efficiency, it is meritorious. The role also requires that you have a driver's license.

We are looking for a team player who enjoys challenges and is motivated to make a difference in your areas - development and maintenance of properties. You are driven and have the ability to work in a structured way.
