Development Engineer at SWIFT in Falkenberg

We are now looking for a development engineer to join our operations in Falkenberg.

As a development engineer at Swift, you will be a key player in our development team in Falkenberg. You will work on new development and maintenance of our platform elevators, with responsibility for the entire process from design to testing and verification. We are looking for someone who wants to grow in a technically challenging and innovative environment where both mechanics and electronics interact.

Main Responsibilities

• Independently design and document details and subsystems in Swift's elevator family.
• Perform design calculations.
• Test and verify designs in our lab or at external test facilities.
• Collaborate with other team members and external partners to ensure quality and functionality.
• Travel to suppliers and customers in Europe and Asia may be required.
• Daily contacts with our factory in China and external experts.

Skills and Experience Required

• University degree in mechanical engineering, mechatronics, or similar field.
• Good knowledge and skills in 3D CAD systems.
• Experience with or interest in electronic control systems.
• Hands-on with the ability to test and verify designs in real environments.
• Good command of English in speech and writing (company's corporate language is English).
• Driver's license B is required.

• Curious and interested in mechatronics.
• Independent and structured with good problem-solving skills.
• Enjoy both office work and practical work in a lab environment.
