Job Responsibilities

In the role of accounting economist, you will have overall responsibility for ongoing accounting. You will work with bookkeeping of daily transactions and be responsible for both accounts receivable and accounts payable. You will handle payments, order and inventory systems, and ensure that reconciliations are carried out correctly.

You will prepare monthly and annual financial statements (for both the company and the group) and ensure that the accounting complies with applicable laws and regulations. Controlling and analysis work are parts included in the position.

Together with the team, you will develop our routines and processes as we constantly work to improve the business. Since Niemi Bil intends to bring payroll administration in-house, we view interest and experience in working with payroll positively.

The work involves many contact points within the company, which means you will have a broad and varied workday. Your immediate supervisor is the CFO, and you will work with Niemi Bil and the group's other companies.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who:

• Has an academic degree in finance (or experience deemed equivalent)
• At least 3 years of experience in qualified accounting work
• Experience in group accounting is an advantage
• Experience in payroll administration is an advantage
• Good system proficiency in the Office suite, especially Excel
• Speaks and writes Swedish and English

It is also an advantage if you have experience with the following systems:

• Fortnox
• Various payroll programs
• Infoflex
• Capego
• Boardeaser

You are analytical and have the ability to see both the big picture and details depending on what the task requires. You have the ability to prioritize your work and complete your tasks in a timely manner and with good quality. The work involves contacts both internally and externally and requires you to have good collaboration skills and an ease in building good relationships.

Other

You will work at the headquarters in Luleå. The position is full-time and starts with a 6-month probationary period. Start date is negotiable.
