JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Do you enjoy working with children and young people? Work as a substitute in school! We are now looking for you who want to work as a teacher substitute in grades F-9 or as a resource in grades F-6.

Being a substitute with us means that you control your own working hours. You will replace regular staff during short absences. This means that your tasks will be similar to those of the regular staff.

Are you confident, flexible, and good at collaborating? As a substitute, you need to adapt to new situations. You will work at different locations, and the working hours may vary.

As a teacher substitute, you will have knowledgeable and engaged colleagues who support, challenge, and share thoughts and ideas. In your role, you are responsible for conducting the lessons based on a plan that you receive on-site. As a resource, you will assist in the classroom alongside the teacher leading the lesson. You should be available to support students in their work.

To be a suitable substitute with us, you need to:

• be responsible and organized
• have completed your high school education with passing grades
• communicate well in Swedish, both orally and in writing

As a teacher substitute with us, you also need to:

• be comfortable standing in front of a class and teaching
• be able to take space in the classroom, instill confidence, and be a secure adult who can lead the group
• be good at creating engagement and participation.

QUALIFICATIONS

• You have completed your high school education with passing grades.
• You communicate well in Swedish, both orally and in writing.
• If you are studying to become a teacher or have another educational background, or previous experience, it is an advantage.
• Applicants with a driver's license and access to a car will be prioritized.
• A background check is required.
