Sörgårds Preschool

Sörgårds Preschool is a preschool with a capacity for 54 children. The children are divided into three departments based on age and maturity. Our preschool is an inspiring workplace where we focus on the children. Everyone should feel involved, responsible, respected, and safe. At Sörgårds Preschool, we have a positive view of children and high expectations. We employ a language-developing approach in our activities and take our roles as adult role models seriously. Collegial learning is central for everyone at the preschool; we learn from and with each other to develop the operations.

Your new job

We are now looking for qualified preschool teachers for Sörgårds Preschool. We need two preschool teachers for 100% temporary positions. Start as soon as possible or as agreed, until 250630 with a possible extension.

As a preschool teacher at Sörgårds Preschool, you will:

• Plan, implement, and evaluate educational activities.
• Work closely with the children and be their safe point during the day.
• Collaborate with colleagues and parents to create the best conditions for the children's development.
• Use modern technology to support children's learning and documentation.

You will be part of a team where you collectively plan and are responsible for the children's education and development. We assume that all children can and want to, and that they should be in an environment where they can use and develop their competencies. You are expected to develop trusting relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.

You create curiosity and the desire to learn during planned activities as well as spontaneous moments. As part of our team, you will have the opportunity to contribute to a creative and inspiring atmosphere where children thrive and develop.

Common tasks

• Plan and implement activities based on the curriculum.
• Develop educational content that inspires development and learning while stimulating and challenging children's interests, curiosity, and attention.
• Provide each child with safe care and promote all children's development and learning.
• Create learning opportunities based on children's needs and interests so that all children can develop according to their abilities and conditions.
• As a preschool teacher, you will work with your colleagues to plan, teach, document, and evaluate the content of the operations.

Your qualifications

• Educated and licensed preschool teacher.
• Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.
• Good knowledge of the school's governing documents and can apply them in daily work.
• Previous experience in preschool is an advantage.
• You have good computer skills, and it is an advantage if you have worked with digital systems aimed at schools, such as Google Workspace, Unikum, Skola24.
