Unika region Stockholm consists of 33 service and group homes as well as daily activities within the Stockholm area. The operations are conducted both in-house and through contracts with the City of Stockholm, Vaxholm Municipality, and Huddinge Municipality. The users have varying support needs and belong to group 1.
About the role as a regional support educatorAs a support educator with a regional assignment, you will work broadly across several of our group homes with a focus on education, guidance, and networking, both for users and employees. You are accustomed to working close to operations, and it is important that you have your own drive where you independently plan and structure your work.
Your responsibilities include:
- Working regionally across several group homes in the Stockholm area
- Planning, leading, and following up on educational initiatives and networking meetings for staff groups
- Providing regular guidance to several employee groups in pedagogical work
- Driving and inspiring common methods and working practices within the operations
- Planning and leading networks for users to create participation, community, and development
- Collaborating with managers, employees, relatives, our method specialists, and other stakeholders
- A degree as a support educator/social educator or equivalent (at least 200 YH credits/60 ECTS)
- Experience working within LSS as a support educator, preferably in group homes
- Confidence in the role of a mentor, educator, and pedagogical role model
- Good knowledge of Clear Pedagogy, Low-Arousal Approach, and Alternative and Augmentative Communication
- Strong ability to plan, structure, and organize
- Flexibility and enjoyment in working both independently and in teams
- Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
- DMO guide, Certified Studio 3 trainer, and approved TNT in Motivational Interviewing are meritorious.
- A regional assignment with pedagogical tasks based on several different agreements, where you work across all the region's operations.

Qualifications
- Degree from a support educator program of 200 YH credits or 60 ECTS in pedagogy.
- Experience and knowledge of the target group LSS adults group 1.
- Basic knowledge of household tasks such as nutrition and hygiene.
- Computer skills and good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written.
Meritorious if you also have
- Experience in leadership
- Experience working with individuals with autism and challenging behavior.
- Experience working with individuals with complex psychosocial behavioral issues.
- Experience in clear communication and low-arousal approach.
