About the position

As Technical Support in our newly established unit AMS (Work with Voltage), you will play an important role in helping Svenska kraftnät succeed in our mission. A role where you will set up structures, the organization, and plans for a larger volume of AMS work. Since the unit is new, you are offered a unique opportunity to help build the business from the ground up.

We are now looking for you who want to become the next valuable addition to our growing unit. Perhaps you have experience in AMS work, such as calculations, preparations, or execution on the contractor or consultancy side – if so, we would love for you to apply!

Together with your colleagues in the unit, you will be responsible for work methods and the technical design of overhead lines, specifically regarding work with and near voltage. We provide specialist expertise in work methods for AMS and its impact on the construction of power lines, both for project activities and facility management.

Your daily work will include supporting maintenance and project operations with your expertise in AMS to identify opportunities for work in the area. You will ensure safe and well-planned work from a client perspective. Furthermore, you will collaborate with other industry players and authorities to ensure good conditions for securing work and more opportunities for AMS work.

The AMS unit belongs to the Line Technology department, the Overhead Line Technology section, which works with technical design, requirements specification, and development of our overhead lines. The unit and department belong to the Network division, which builds and manages the transmission network.

About you

Since the role involves many contact points, both internally and externally, you find it natural to build relationships and collaborate to achieve our goals. You are characterized by organizing your work efficiently and doing what is necessary to achieve good results. In the role, you represent Svenska kraftnät in AMS matters, handling inquiries and discussions in the area in a secure and trustworthy manner. Our ideal candidate has a good ability to constructively find solutions to arising problems.

We place great importance on your personal qualities.

You have an engineering degree or equivalent professional experience in the field as assessed by the authority.

Furthermore, you have:

• Several years of experience in AMS work within electricity distribution, such as preparation, calculations, planning, or execution.
• Good communication skills in both spoken and written Swedish and English.
• A valid driver's license (B).

Meritorious:

• Experience in project work.
• Experience with bare hand methods, such as planning, calculation, or execution.
• Experience working in the transmission network.
• Led development work in the AMS area, such as new working methods.

• The position is located in Stockholm/Sundbyberg, Gothenburg, Sundsvall, Luleå, Sollefteå, or Västerås.
• Possibility for remote work up to 50% #LI-hybrid
