We are looking for a Fraud Analyst on behalf of our client.

Job Description

The Fraud and Investigation section is new and will take overall responsibility for anti-fraud (preventing, identifying, investigating) within the client's property insurance operations to contribute to increased security and economic benefits for their customers. The section belongs to the Claims unit, which is responsible for handling all insurance-related claims, amounting to over 1.1 million in 2023. The section has several branches, such as strategy, analysis, and investigation. Today, it consists of about 30 employees with the ambition to expand this in the future.

They are now looking for a Fraud Analyst based in Stockholm who can help take their anti-fraud capabilities to the next level. Your role as a Fraud Analyst involves designing and maintaining models to analyze fraud with the aim of counteracting and identifying such activities.

You will work closely with Fraud Business Developers, Investigators, and other analytical functions within the organization. You will provide the organization with relevant analyses and insights.

The role is newly established and is part of a larger initiative to strengthen the client's anti-fraud capabilities. You will have the opportunity to put your own stamp on the design of the role.

Your main responsibilities include:

• Developing and refining models and analysis rules related to fraud

• Ensuring that there is sufficient data and integrations for fraud analysis

• Supporting the development/introduction of new tools within anti-fraud

• Analyzing and identifying patterns and trends related to fraud

We are looking for someone who has:

• Relevant higher education (e.g., in statistics, mathematics, data)

• Extensive (5+ years) experience in analysis and data modeling

• Experience using SQL, Databricks, Python as analytical tools

• Experience in driving projects related to IT and technology implementation

• Previous experience in fraud work is an advantage, preferably within property insurance

Good Swedish in speech and writing (as the team and colleagues in the organization that the consultant needs to collaborate with only speak Swedish)
