JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Home Care:

In Ängelholm, there are seven home care areas, we call ourselves Bo Bra Hemma. Those who work in home care visit individuals and provide care and support in their own homes.

Special Housing:

In a special housing facility, sometimes referred to as a nursing home, care and support are provided year-round, 24/7, to individuals with significant care and support needs. In Ängelholm, there are seven special housing facilities operated by the municipality. Some of the facilities have a focus such as dementia care or short-term care.

Job Tasks

Home Care:

As a summer temp in home care, you will visit individuals to assist them with planned care and support tasks. These are often elderly individuals who need support in their daily lives. When you work in home care, you will receive a schedule indicating who you will assist, during what time, and what tasks you will perform. Examples of tasks include helping with dressing, personal hygiene, cleaning, laundry, shopping, and social interaction.

Special Housing:

As a summer temp in a special housing facility, you will perform care and support tasks based on the residents' needs. This may involve assisting with transfers, personal hygiene, administering medication, supporting during meals, cleaning, laundry, and social interaction. An important part of the role is to contribute to a meaningful life through social meetings, activities, and outdoor experiences.

Working Hours:

Day shifts approximately 7 AM to 4 PM, evening shifts approximately 2 PM to 10 PM, and the job also includes work on certain holidays, but if you work on a weekend, you will have equal weekdays off instead.

QUALIFICATIONS

Personal Attributes:

You are good with people, enjoy collaborating, and getting things done. You take responsibility, are meticulous, and ensure that everything works well. We use digital tools as a natural part of our work, so you need to feel comfortable using mobile phones, computers, and other digital technology as work tools.

Education:

Care education is beneficial, but we are also looking for those without any care education.

Experience:

Experience in care and support work is advantageous, but we also consider other work with people and service as valuable assets.

Language:

To perform the work safely and understandably, you must be proficient in the Swedish language in both spoken and written form.

Age:

You must be at least 18 years old to be eligible for a summer job with us.

Before offering employment, we will request a background check from the Police Authority.

We offer full-time employment, and can adjust working hours to part-time if desired.

We will, of course, provide you with an introductory training that makes you feel secure and comfortable with your tasks. We actively work on learning within the team and prioritize providing a good work environment.
