Business Description

The primary schools in Gällivare are located both centrally and in rural areas. The schools vary in size and there are nine in total. There are 8 principals and three vice-principals distributed across the schools. Recruitment is a central area for the principals, who now need support in recruiting teachers, class mentors, and student assistants.

We are now looking for a recruiter to support the principals in the recruitment work at Gällivare's primary schools. Are you the one we are looking for?

Job Responsibilities

In the role of recruiter, you will collaborate with all principals to understand their needs. You will create job profiles, design advertisements, and then advertise in various channels based on the principals' requests. You will process applications, select candidates, conduct initial interviews, and perform reference checks, as well as handle the administrative work related to the recruitments. In the future, the position may also include recruitment for preschools.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with a university degree in behavioral science/personnel or another qualification that the employer considers equivalent. Experience in recruitment is required, and if you have experience recruiting the target groups, it is an advantage. As a person, you need to be social - comfortable and enjoy making contact with people. In the role of recruiter, you must be self-driven and experienced in leading recruitment processes. You should be able to collaborate with the principals and various professionals. You have a good ability to communicate in Swedish, both verbally and in writing. We place great importance on personal qualities.

It is considered an advantage if you have:

• Experience from Gällivare's recruitment process
• Experience working in recruitment systems
• Experience in employer branding
• Experience working in public sector

Under the framework of the national minority language law, Gällivare municipality is the administrative municipality for Sami, Meänkieli, and Finnish. Knowledge of any of these languages is an advantage when applying for a position in Gällivare municipality.
