System Engineer for Linux and Windows

Centric is currently looking for experienced system engineers in both Linux and Windows. We see that you have extensive experience in the operation and management of IT systems. The need exists with several of our clients in Stockholm, and as an IT consultant at Centric, you will have the opportunity to develop through rotation of assignments while having a secure employment with us in the meantime.

Responsibilities

The assignments with our clients for you as a System Engineer mainly include operation, maintenance, management, and development of IT systems - both in Windows and Linux environments. The group includes, in addition to other system engineers, also system developers and testers. You are responsible for the operation and management of IT systems for our clients. You will work with installation, configuration, and maintenance of servers and networks, as well as monitoring system performance and security. You will handle troubleshooting, updates, and backups to ensure a stable and secure IT environment. You will collaborate with clients to optimize system solutions and support their technical needs. Exactly how the role looks in detail varies from client to client.

Your Profile and Qualifications

• High competence and at least four years of work experience in application operation on Windows servers in large environments (over 400 clients)
• High competence and at least four years of work experience in application operation on Linux servers in large environments (over 400 clients)
• At least four years of work experience working with web servers, such as IIS, Apache, Nginx, etc., in large environments (over 1000 clients)
• At least four years of work experience in scripting, such as Powershell, Bash, Python, etc., in large environments (over 1000 clients)
• At least four years of work experience in SQL in large environments (over 1000 clients)
• At least four years of work experience in DNS, TCP/IP, firewalls, routing, and troubleshooting in large environments (over 1000 clients)
