Head Waiter / Maitre'D
Do you have experience as a Head Waiter or Maitre'D at a high-end restaurant, luxury hotel, or corporate private dining and are looking for a new role? Based out of the client's Global head office in Stockholm, this role will ensure that the client and private dining works seamlessly, focusing on service delivery and quality. This role is part of our newly created Hospitality Team, where you will be working closely to deliver excellent F&B and Hospitality services to our client's guests and customers.
This role will be a front-of-house based role and be an integral part of the operational delivery. You will be a welcoming and approachable team member, available to respond to requests and queries that might occur. You will also make sure dining rooms are prepared to the right standard and according to the booking and serving lunch for groups.

Profile
- Passionate about offering an extraordinary and excellent customer experience, and understand the importance of quality and anticipating customer's needs.
- Previous experience in the Hospitality industry, preferably within high-end restaurants or corporate dining operations.
- Excellent knowledge of Swedish and English (additional languages advantageous), both spoken and written.
- Good at prioritizing and solution-oriented, with a natural ability to help. Positive attitude and takes pride in delivering high-quality meals and services.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Welcome and serve guests arriving at the client restaurant. Ensure that all dining bookings run successfully and smoothly.
- Passion for food & beverage and building long-lasting relationships and thrive in a fast-paced environment where the customer is at the heart of the operation.
- Collaborate with bookers, stakeholders, and colleagues to deliver a great dining experience. Work closely with our F&B provider to plan and deliver exciting, well-tasting, and sustainable meals.
- Ensure meeting services are delivered in accordance with set processes and procedures. Be the voice and eyes on the floor to make sure all bookings receive the same high service levels.
- Ability to make guests and attendees feel welcome, responding to their requests. Being able to interact and create relationships with a range of people at different levels of seniority.
- Be the point of contact and act as a host for all meeting organizers within the scope of the role. Assisting and responding to needs as well as proactively anticipating their needs.
- Aim to exceed client expectations while maintaining adherence to guidelines and processes and leveraging restaurant industry best practices and experience set within the parameters of the client.
- Actively seek feedback and information from guests and users at different points of contact to gain understanding of needs and pass on information to enable the Workplace team to proactively respond to business needs.
- Help and cover other administrative tasks and work closely with other team members and cover other responsibilities within the Hospitality Team such as, but not limited to, meetings, events, and catering. This role is 100% based in the office in Kista.
Education and Experience
- 2 to 5 years of prior work experience in a similar role or experience in high-end restaurants or private dining.
- Completion of Swedish Gymnasium or equivalent.
