About us

Himmel & Pannkaka is a production kitchen that belongs to Väsby Support and Care. We prepare food for SÄBO (Elderly Care) and individuals within LLS (Daily Activities). The production kitchen is designed for 700 portions a day. We work with a cold food system where we prepare the food on-site in the kitchen, cool it down, and package it. All food is then sent from our kitchen cold and reheated at the respective units. This creates a freshly made and pleasant atmosphere at the units. We also have a restaurant connected to our production kitchen where we serve lunch guests from Monday to Friday.

The operations of Himmel & Pannkaka consist of eight employees, including a kitchen manager, chefs, kitchen assistants, and a driver. We also have an LLS operation that works with us in the premises, handling simpler preparation, serving, and logistics. With a modern machinery park and smart solutions combined with a well-thought-out structure and clear flow, we have created a system that is easy and enjoyable to work in. By combining classic culinary craftsmanship with new technology, we follow the food we prepare all the way to the guest's plate.

About the position

You will be one of the responsible chefs who, together with the kitchen manager, oversees the preparation of food in the kitchen. Along with the kitchen manager and other chefs, you will plan menus based on the season, climate-smart options, and future challenges with more plant-based meals. The main tasks include preparing cold and hot dishes and ordering supplies. In your role as a chef, you will also be responsible for delegating tasks to kitchen assistants and overseeing the lunch buffet in our restaurant.

Are you the one we are looking for?

We are looking for someone who has:

• Documented training in food hygiene. HACCP
• Several years of experience as a chef

It is an advantage if you have previously worked with a cold food system, preparing food that is then cooled before delivery. It is also advantageous if you have a B driver's license.

You are very self-driven and enjoy a fast pace. You are also collaborative, being a team player. Furthermore, you are considerate and structured. We also believe that you need to be creative to fit the role of a chef.
