ValueOne is looking for an experienced Supplier Quality Manager for a consulting assignment with a manufacturing company in Karlskoga. The assignment is ongoing.

In the role of Supplier Quality Manager, you will actively work to ensure that suppliers and their deliveries meet the company's quality outcome requirements within the company's product groups of electronics, mechanics, systems, or non-metallic components. You will work on implementing the company's procurement processes and participate in procurement preparations. Furthermore, you will proactively work to reduce risks and avoid quality deviations. The role involves travel, primarily within Sweden, but possibly also abroad.

Your main responsibilities include:

• Quality assurance of purchased items, materials, and subsystems within one of the company's product groups.
• Ensuring the implementation of the company's procurement strategy, procurement policy, and procedures.
• Responsible for quality requirements in requests for quotes, contracts, and purchase orders.
• Participate in and create procurement preparations.
• Conduct audits of suppliers and products on-site at suppliers.
• Monitor suppliers' quality performance and drive corrective actions for those suppliers who do not meet the targets.
• Drive improvement programs together with suppliers.
• Handle complaints for materials that do not meet specifications and review suppliers' responses to complaints.

We are looking for someone with a strong background in quality assurance with experience working with suppliers in the manufacturing industry. You should have worked with materials and products within one of the company's various product groups, including electronics, mechanics, or non-metallic components. Furthermore, good knowledge of quality tools such as root cause analysis, FMEA, 8D, and measurement system analysis is required. Documented competence in process auditing, six sigma, and preferably black belt is advantageous. A bachelor's or master's degree in engineering is also a merit.

To thrive in this role, you need to be a structured person with an analytical mind who enjoys handling multiple parallel tasks independently while also collaborating in a team. For this assignment, you must undergo and be approved according to the current security protection regulations. In some cases, where the company has requirements for security classification, there may be requirements for certain citizenship.
