Do you want to be part of developing the next generation of defense systems? AFRY is now looking for a technology-interested and committed electronics designer who wants to work on exciting projects together with a close-knit team of experts.

About the role:

As an electronics designer, you will contribute to the development of advanced electronic platforms and subsystems for future defense technologies. You will work with both electromechanics and electronics design, from concept and development to finished product. The projects cover several technical areas, and you will collaborate closely with project managers, electromechanical designers, and systems engineers.

Examples of tasks:

• Participate in the development of innovative subsystems and electronic platforms.
• Perform electronics design, from idea to completion of products.
• Integrate solutions with other system components and optimize functionality.
• Collaborate in project groups with AFRY colleagues and the end customer.

After an introduction at the AFRY office, where you will get to know the team and the business, you will quickly dive into exciting assignments. These are often carried out directly at the customer’s site, giving you the opportunity to see the results of your work in practice.

Your profile:

We are looking for someone who is curious, responsible, and loves solving technical challenges in collaboration with others. You have a strong interest in electrical design and are driven to work in a creative and high-tech environment.

Requirements:

• Relevant education in electronics, electrical engineering, or equivalent work experience (e.g., university or vocational training).
• Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
• Basic experience with CAD tools for electronics design.
• Swedish citizenship or other EU citizenship.

Meritorious:

• Experience with advanced CAD tools for electronics design.
• Knowledge in hardware and software development for embedded systems.
• Interest in electronics, preferably with practical experience from hobby or leisure projects.
