In your future role as an Operational Improvement Engineer, you will:

  • Integrate health, safety, environmental, and energy aspects into site improvement work.
  • Reduce deviations and losses in production processes regarding capacity and efficiency.
  • Use standardized tools for collecting and compiling deviation and loss data.
  • Report and present deviation and loss data to the management team.
  • Lead root cause analyses and motivate others to use RCPS methodology in problem-solving.
  • Support the Operations Reliability Management process with structured root cause analyses.
  • Lead small investment projects and improvement projects following L6S and DMAIC project structure.

We believe you bring:

  • Master's or Bachelor's degree in chemical engineering, mechanical engineering, or equivalent.
  • Strong presentation skills.
  • Experience in production systems and lean tools is advantageous.
  • Training in Lean Six Sigma is advantageous.
  • Ability to perform simple statistical analyses.
  • Good command of Swedish and English, both spoken and written.

We think you are a person with excellent communication skills, a strong problem-solving ability through root cause analyses, and strong leadership to motivate others in improvement projects. You also have good teamwork skills and can effectively integrate health, safety, environmental, and energy aspects into improvement work.
