We are now looking for temporary substitutes to our team at Kalvhagen. We offer training and a developing job where you can make a difference! The position refers to a special fixed-term employment as a residential support worker.

About Kalvhagen 

Kalvhagen is a service residence within LSS aimed at adults with diagnoses within the autism spectrum or intellectual disabilities. Kalvhagen is located in Lilla Edet on Ström in a picturesque area.  We work individually tailored based on Nytida's framework for pedagogy (read more here >> (https://nytida.se/sa-jobbar-vi/nytidas-pedagogiska-ramverk/)) which is based on low-arousal responses, clear pedagogical approaches, and alternative and augmentative communication (AAC).

As a temporary substitute with us, you will be part of a secure work group with extensive experience in pedagogical work.

About the role In the role of a residential support worker, you will start from the individual needs and wishes of the residents and provide support in daily life based on a pedagogical approach. Together with other staff members, you will work towards making the day meaningful and enriching. You will support and guide with personal care, meals, medication management, cleaning, community contacts, and communication. An important part of the work is to stimulate and motivate the resident to develop their abilities and create opportunities for an active and meaningful leisure time. Your tasks also include documenting and planning based on implementation plans. Working hours are scheduled during the day, evenings, weekends, and awake night shifts. 

You will have a group manager close to you who works part of their time in the operation. This can also be a future career opportunity for you.  

Your experience and knowledge You who are applying have a high school education in health and care or another equivalent education. You have good knowledge of Swedish in both spoken and written form, good computer skills, and experience in documentation. It is an advantage if you have experience working with the target group. Otherwise, your CV is not the most important. If you have the right qualities, we will support you and give you the opportunity to grow. A driver's license is a requirement
