We are now looking for a substitute housing supporter to our team at Ekholma. We offer training and a developing job where you can make a difference! The position is a 100% substitute during parental leave from 20251201 to 20260228, with a chance of extension. About Ekholma  Ekholma group home according to LSS is located in Uddevalla, near Lanesund. The operation provides support to individuals with diagnoses within the autism spectrum or intellectual disabilities. In the current position, you will work days, evenings, and one Sunday every 4 weeks, and the schedule consists largely of longer shifts. At Ekholma, you are part of an experienced and wonderful team that focuses on the residents in every effort. 

We are looking for a person who enjoys working with people and has the ability to adapt their approach based on the needs of the target group. You are solution-oriented, reliable, and structured. It is a great advantage if you can start working as a substitute before the substitute position begins. 

A driving license (B) is a requirement. The operation has its own car, and driving is often required during work hours. 

About the role In the role of housing supporter, you will base your work on the individual needs and wishes of the residents and provide support in daily life from a pedagogical perspective. Together with other staff, you will work towards making the day meaningful and rich in content. You will support and guide with personal care, meals, medication management, cleaning, community contacts, and communication. An important part of the job is to stimulate and motivate the resident to develop their abilities and create opportunities for an active and meaningful leisure time. Your tasks also include documenting and planning based on implementation plans. 

Your experience and knowledge You who are applying have a high school education in care and nursing or another equivalent education. You have good knowledge of Swedish in both speech and writing, good computer skills, and experience in documentation. It is an advantage if you have experience working with the target group. Otherwise, your CV is not the most important. If you have the right qualities, we will provide you with support and opportunities to grow.  

You have a positive outlook, a strong commitment to people, and are responsible. You enjoy working in a team and supporting your colleagues, always keeping our users' best interests in mind in everything you do.
