Role Description:

Background Senior project manager within a mission-critical project for a government agency in the energy sector. The role includes responsibility for operational activities and technical systems for operational monitoring (SCADA/EMS).

Assignment Description As a senior project manager, you are responsible for one of the organization's most prioritized projects. You lead planning, progress, and reporting according to guidelines from the steering group and program management.

Examples of tasks include:

• Project management and sub-project management for various deliveries such as data migration, system design, configuration, testing, deployment, and training.
• Collaboration with adjacent projects, line functions, external actors, and other national or international partners within the industry.

The work mainly takes place in a project focused on operational operations and the implementation of a new IT solution, where extensive testing and deployment occur in close collaboration with the business. The role may also involve support for other projects within the program, such as investigations, risk management, coordination, change management, as well as management and continuity planning.

Role and Responsibilities

• Lead assignments related to data migration in a larger business project for the implementation of a new SCADA/EMS system.
• Plan and drive activities within assigned areas.
• Contribute specialist knowledge within SCADA/EMS – for example regarding functionality, maintenance, testing, and approval processes.
• Report results to project management and other relevant stakeholders.
• Support other initiatives within both the program operations and line organization.
