Production Manager Workshop

– A key role in a safety-critical operation

We are looking for a production manager for a safety-classified workshop operation where you will take overall responsibility – both strategically and operationally. You will lead the operation forward with a focus on safety, quality, and efficiency.

About the role

In this role, you will have direct responsibility for the workshop's operations, personnel, and safety-related decisions. You will participate in management team work and help shape future working methods, goals, and maintenance strategies. The role requires you to be confident in making decisions that affect safety in the operation and to work systematically with follow-up, analysis, and improvement work.

Your main responsibilities:

• Lead and develop the operations within the workshop
• Make operational decisions within the safety management system
• Personnel responsibility including employee conversations and workplace environment issues
• Dialogue with customers, partners, and other units
• Planning of resources, maintenance, and spare parts
• Reporting and follow-up according to applicable routines and systems
• Risk assessments, environmental rounds, and deviation management
• Actively participate in management team work and implement decisions locally

Qualifications

• Technical high school education or equivalent
• At least 5 years of relevant work experience
• Experience in leadership within workshops, transport, or similar
• Good technical understanding and experience working with business systems
• Swedish and English in speech and writing
• Ability to make independent decisions in safety-critical situations

Meritorious:

• Experience in maintenance work on vehicles
• Knowledge of workplace safety, fire, and electrical safety
• Internal delegations within traffic, electrical, and fire protection are part of the responsibilities
