Eventligan and Teater Scarlet are now seeking actors for the season November 2025 - October 2026 with rehearsals in October 2025.

We have been performing Murder Mysteries since 2017 to full houses and will be presenting new mysteries this autumn as usual.

In one of Teater Scarlet's best murder mysteries, we follow the drama surrounding Karl X Gustav at the beginning of the Swedish Great Power period. We also follow the resistance movement in the city's slum area and the struggle for survival of the poorest inhabitants. It is a story with many twists where the plot turns quickly.

It is, of course, about power, power struggles, politics, money, and of course murder, but also a lot about the relationships between the characters. A large number of different characters become involved in the story.

LOCATION: Brygghuset, Odenplan. Stockholm.

PERFORMANCE PERIOD: November 2025 - October 2026 (We perform on selected Saturdays during the period, not every Saturday but 25 Saturdays throughout the year)

Rehearsal period: Weekday evenings and Sundays from October 6th to October 28th, with the premiere on the first weekend in November. Monday - Thursday 17:00-22:30, Sundays 12:00 - 23:30. NOTE - the rehearsal period is located in Gothenburg. The project provides simple accommodation.

The murder mysteries at Teater Scarlet consist of a four-act play and a three-course dinner that the audience eats between the acts. It is classic theater on stage with sound and light, and we also perform with microphones. As an actor, you will truly face a challenge as our murder mysteries offer both strong drama and humor, which means we need actors who have both a strong dramatic flair and a sense of comic timing.

We always perform some form of costume drama.

It is a murder mystery, so what distinguishes the play from a regular play is that the audience is to guess who the murderer is between the acts.

What does the job entail: During an evening, you will perform as an actor on stage for 2 hours. Between the acts, you will assist with serving and clearing. The job also involves some preparation before the performance and some work after the performance.

How much do you earn: You can choose a fixed salary of 1050 SEK per performance if you want security in exactly what you earn per performance, but you can also choose to receive a certain amount per ticket, which means that as an actor, with 100 tickets sold, you earn 3100 SEK, which is usually the minimum (this means just over half full in the auditorium).

If you choose a fixed salary, you will also receive a smaller compensation for the rehearsal period, while those who choose a certain amount per ticket do not receive any compensation for the rehearsal period.

What are the working hours: 16:00-24:00 and the actual performance is between 19:00 and 23:00.
