The IT Vehicles and Traffic department is now looking for a Full Stack Developer who wants to be a driving force in the work with one of our internal tools. The current team develops web applications for work management and depot planning. With us, you will focus on both maintenance and new development and contribute with your holistic perspective. Your upcoming role As a developer with us, you will among other things work with the technologies Java, React, Azure DevOps, Git and be part of a business-oriented team. What we build in the team, we take responsibility for. 

Your workday will be characterized by:

• New development, further development, and maintenance of applications.
• Designing, standardizing, and further developing our solutions where development takes place in the Azure environment.
• Operational responsibility with monitoring and proactive incident prevention.
• Taking responsibility for incidents, technical debt, and striving for continuous improvements.
• Communicating, collaborating, and building good relationships with other developers within and outside the team.
• Building domain knowledge and understanding of SJ's business rules.
• Understanding and interpreting requirements to implement sustainable solutions.
• Actively participating in the agile ceremonies that are the foundation of our working methods at SJ.

Expectations for the candidate we are looking for To thrive with us, we believe that you are a communicative person who is interested in understanding needs and transforming them into technical solutions. You have a broad interest in modern technology, problem-solving skills, and see the benefit of understanding user behaviors to drive effective development that solves real problems. You want to be part of a dynamic team where everyone's competence contributes to solutions that deliver results. In addition to this, we also believe that you:

• Have several years of experience working with development and operations within Azure, Java, and React.
• Describe yourself as a senior developer, possessing a good understanding of code and technical solutions.
• Have experience in web development and web-based applications.
• Describe yourself as curious and technology-oriented.

We consider it an advantage if you have experience with Git, Jira & Confluence.

As a person, you are unpretentious, curious, and able to challenge, analyze, and set demands. You need to have a good ability and willingness to share your knowledge and experiences and that you can eventually take on a mentorship role for junior developers. We see that you actively participate in forums to drive and advocate for SJ to have a place at the forefront of technology.
