We are now looking for an experienced IT Procurement Consultant for a full-time consulting assignment.

The background is that the client needs extra support in procurement after a regular employee has left the organization. The role involves independently driving and being responsible for the entire procurement process within the IT area, focusing on software, systems, and applications. Experience in similar assignments for at least four years is a prerequisite.

The consultant will handle procurements for one or more internal clients simultaneously. The work includes both object-specific agreements and framework agreements.

The assignment is expected to start in the first half of September. The work will mainly be performed on-site at the client's location in Södertälje, but there is an opportunity for remote work up to 50%.

Mandatory requirements

• At least four years of experience in conducting IT procurements, primarily in software, systems, and applications.
• Ability to provide 1–2 references that can confirm that previous assignments were carried out with high quality, according to schedule and with good collaboration.
• Experience in independently leading procurements and taking responsibility for the entire procurement process.
• Good theoretical understanding of procurement procedures and related working methods.
• Solid knowledge of procurement legislation, its practical application, and current practices.
• Completed university degree or qualified vocational training in procurement, or more than five years of documented professional experience as a procurement officer.
• Ability to work on-site in Södertälje.
• Available to start the assignment in the first half of September.

Desirable requirements

• Experience working with the procurement tool TendSign.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft 365.
• Previous experience in procurement in municipal or public sector.
