About the Role

The client's mission is to manage all radioactive waste from Swedish nuclear power plants. This must be done safely for both people and the environment. In line with this, two major projects are currently underway in Forsmark, Östhammar municipality, where the largest is one of the more qualified facility projects to be carried out in Sweden.

We are now looking for Senior Power Engineers who want to take on the role of Power System Designer in one of Sweden's most qualified facility projects in nuclear power. The assignment is carried out in Forsmark, Östhammar municipality, where safe handling of radioactive waste is the focus – for both people and the environment.

The Role Involves:

Translating facility requirements into system solutions/technical specifications

Developing design documentation at the system level according to industry regulations

Being responsible for system design solutions that meet complex technical and administrative requirements

Creating construction documents for inquiries, implementation, and detailed design

Reviewing system solutions and leading work within given frameworks

We are looking for someone who has:

A civil or university engineering degree or equivalent

At least 5 years of experience from industrial projects (preferably nuclear/hydropower)

Deep knowledge of electrical power and industry regulations

The ability to work independently, take initiative, and lead others

Experience with Ides Master Concept/elMaster is a plus
