As part of a smaller, technically focused team in the Instrument Department, you have great opportunities to influence both technical solutions and future product strategies within geotechnical measuring equipment.

Job responsibilities

In the role of software developer in the Instrument Department, you play a key role in the development of Geotech's products and measuring instruments, focusing on creating reliable and user-friendly software for fieldwork. The work encompasses the entire development chain – from idea and design to testing, documentation, release, and ongoing maintenance.

The development involves both new and existing solutions, such as apps for logging measuring instruments, PC programs, web-based user interfaces, and backend solutions for monitoring and data management. Technologies such as C# and Avalonia are used, and there are good opportunities to influence the modernization of current systems.

As a developer, you drive your own projects and collaborate closely with product owners, hardware developers, and customers. The role also involves contact with support functions and the opportunity to participate in beta testing directly with users in the field.

Education, experience, and personal qualities

• Relevant university education or equivalent work experience

• Several years of experience in C# development, experience with Avalonia is a plus

• Experience in full-stack development with a good understanding of web solutions

• Proficient in Swedish and English, both spoken and written

We are looking for someone who is self-driven, solution-oriented, and has good communication skills, along with a strong sense of responsibility. You have a deep technical understanding, enjoy customer contact, and want to be engaged in the entire process. Creativity and a willingness to share knowledge are important, as well as the ability to adapt in a fast-changing environment.
