Do you have experience in hardware-near programming and are confident in your C code? Do you also enjoy taking responsibility in a team with short decision-making paths? Then the role of Embedded Developer at RT-labs might be for you! We welcome your application!

ABOUT THE POSITION:

Friday is seeking a skilled embedded developer on behalf of RT-Labs, who will work on in-house projects for clients. RT-Labs collaborates with a number of well-established companies that use their platform software to streamline their product development, where you, in the role of embedded developer, will have the opportunity to be creative and influence your work based on your wishes and interests.

You will work in a C environment with varying tasks within hardware-near programming, such as the development and implementation of RT-Labs platform software for different types of electronics, such as audio systems and ventilation systems. Most projects you will be involved in involve a combination of further development of existing systems and new development.

WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU WHO:
  • Has a completed master's degree in computer engineering, electrical engineering, mechatronics, or robotics.
  • Has 3-5 years of work experience in embedded development in C code.
  • Has very good knowledge of development in C through your work experience.
  • Speaks and writes fluently in Swedish and English, as both languages are communicated both internally and externally in daily work.

It is a merit if you have:

  • Knowledge of Python.
  • Experience working with standards such as IEC 61508, PROFINET, or ISO 26262.
  • Experience in cybersecurity or functional safety.
About the client company:

RT-Labs is a privately owned company founded in 2002 and has been helping customers through the development of software for embedded systems since 2006. RT-Labs' guiding principle is that the customer should be able to focus entirely on their customers and their requirements for functionality and performance, where RT-Labs contributes with a universal software platform and a development process that saves both time and money.

RT-Labs has offices in Gothenburg, Malmö, Västerås, and Stockholm, where you will be based at the Gothenburg office together with over 20 colleagues. Feel free to read more here (https://rt-labs.com).

ABOUT THE EMPLOYMENT:

This is a direct recruitment, which means that Friday handles and is responsible for the recruitment process, but you will be employed directly by RT-Labs.

  • Extent: Full-time.
  • Start: Flexible.
  • Location: Gothenburg.
