We are now looking for an ophthalmic and/or surgical nurse for our clinic in Hagastaden, Solna. At the clinic, we work with private vision correction surgeries, refractive surgery, and public eye care on behalf of the Region. Within eye care, we offer outpatient services for children and adults, orthoptics, cataract surgeries, outpatient procedures, and fundus photography for diabetes. 

You will be part of a team with high engagement and a strong focus on all patients who come to the clinic daily, where we provide high-quality eye care.

Responsibilities

As a nurse at the Eye Clinic in Hagastaden, you will be part of our team that meets patients in both outpatient services, cataract surgeries, and outpatient procedures by, among other things:

• Assisting in intra- and extraocular treatments
• Assisting in surgeries
• Holding your own clinic for, for example, diabetes patients
• Providing telephone advice and support to patients

Who you are

We are looking for a licensed nurse with specialist competence in ophthalmology or surgery with a few years of work experience in the field.

The position requires good collaboration skills and a high degree of independence, and we expect you to contribute with high quality and prioritize patient safety.

Location: Hagastaden, Solna

Extent: Full-time, Monday to Friday. Other working hours can be discussed.

Employment type: Permanent employment, starting with a six-month probationary period
