The Medical Reception in Örnsköldsvik belongs to the primary care area Norr. As a nursing assistant at the Medical Reception, you will work both independently and as part of a team with doctors, nurses, medical foot care specialists, and secretaries. At the Medical Reception, we care for all patients belonging to the medical fields of Neurology, Endocrinology, Rheumatology, and Gastroenterology. We also take care of patients needing medical foot care through our foot care specialist and work closely with the Diagnostic Center. Our workplace is characterized by teamwork where everyone helps each other while also working independently to drive the operations forward in the best way.

We are now looking for a nursing assistant for our operations. The position is a temporary full-time position (100%), with the possibility of reduced hours if desired. The working hours are daytime from Monday to Friday, with weekends and public holidays off. Start date preferably in mid-April or as agreed.

Job Responsibilities

The responsibilities of the nursing assistant at the Medical Reception mainly consist of receiving patients who come for sampling at our unit. The tasks are varied and include taking venous samples, ECGs, and blood pressure, as well as receiving some phone calls. Nursing assistants also assist doctors with abdominal taps, pleural taps, lumbar punctures, and bone marrow samples. The work also includes administrative tasks such as calling patients, helping with record entries, checking invoices, ordering supplies, and more.

We are looking for someone who

• Has a valid nursing assistant education
• Has experience working as a nursing assistant.
• Has good knowledge of Swedish in both spoken and written form
