The Surgical Clinic in Sundsvall is a large specialist clinic within Vascular, Upper Gastrointestinal, Colorectal, Breast/Endocrine, and Endoscopic operations. Here, nurses, nursing assistants, and doctors work closely together to investigate and perform treatments and examinations in benign and malignant surgery. We also have nurses with special functions in aortic screening, breast care, stoma, and endoscopy. Our cancer patients have a designated contact nurse. We can offer you an innovative and secure workplace with continuity where working hours are weekdays during daytime.

The position is a full-time temporary contract until 2026-03-15, with a possibility of extension, and start date by agreement.

Nurse for the Surgical Clinic, Sundsvall

Job Responsibilities

• Be responsible for the patient's journey within the care process
• Assist in examinations and minor surgeries/procedures involving the handling of medical technical equipment
• Telephone advice/appointments for patients
• Act as support for other operations in surgical matters
• Own clinic
• Team-specific tasks
• Ensure that waiting lists are updated and that the care guarantee is maintained

We have an introduction plan that we customize based on experience with the tasks. After working for a while, you will belong to a specific team where special tasks and deeper internal training will be included.

Additional Information

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who

• Is a licensed nurse
• Has good knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing
• Has good knowledge of English in speech and writing

It is meritorious if you

• Have further education in surgery
• Have several years of experience in nursing
• Have experience with the Cosmic journal system
