Department 7 is a psychiatric ward with a clear focus on addiction disorders. Our target group is patients with dependency syndrome in need of detoxification treatment, either acute or planned, or initiation of methadone (LARO). Possible forms of care include HSL, LVM, or LPT. The ward has 14 beds. The operation runs around the clock, and working hours are scheduled for days, evenings, nights, and weekends, which requires your availability to work during these times. We work two weekends out of five. We use a wish schedule.

We work from a patient-centered approach. Collaboration with social services and other community actors in the addiction field is an important part of the work. We also collaborate with AA and NA, who hold weekly meetings at the ward.

We now have room for additional staff in our department team and are therefore looking for a nurse for our operations! The position is a permanent employment with a start date according to agreement.

Job Responsibilities

As a nurse, your responsibilities will include psychiatric nursing, medication management, monitoring health status, both psychiatric and physical, assessments, observations, conversations, evaluations, and sample collections. Collaboration with other actors is an important part of the work.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who

• Is a licensed nurse with an interest in addiction care and development
• Has good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written

It is an advantage if you

• Have specialist training in psychiatric care, but we welcome applicants from other medical specialties
• Have additional language skills
