Ward 52 has 16 beds, 31 employees including 17 nurses and 14 caregivers, treating and caring for patients aged 18 and over with affective disorders, primarily depression, mania, and severe anxiety requiring acute psychiatric inpatient care. There are two senior physicians in the department, along with AT and BT doctors and ST doctors periodically.

We at Ward 52 are now looking for a nurse to join our team. As a nurse, it is important to have a strong interest in people, patience, and the ability to empathize with others' situations. The profession includes responsibility for nursing work, which means monitoring health status, assessing nursing needs and actions, as well as managing medication administration.

The position is a permanent full-time employment, with start date according to agreement. Supervision is offered every other week. There is a good opportunity for wellness and training initiatives. Desired schedules for days, evenings, and nights are managed in Heroma with work every third weekend. A competence ladder is used.

Nurse for Psychiatric Ward 52, Sundsvall

Job Responsibilities

• Psychiatric nursing
• Supportive conversations

Within the department, staff work with group care and the daily contact person where a group-responsible nurse leads and is responsible for the nursing work. Four nurses in the department are responsible for the clinic's ECT/rTMS operations. There is one place for user-controlled admission, which means that the patient can admit themselves directly to the ward for three days, a maximum of three times a month.
