Department 52 has 16 care places, 31 employees including 17 nurses and 14 caregivers. We treat and care for patients aged 18 and over with affective disorders, primarily depression, mania, and severe anxiety requiring acute psychiatric inpatient care. A senior physician is present in the department, along with AT and BT doctors and ST doctors periodically. The staff works with group care and a daily contact person where a group-responsible nurse leads and is responsible for the nursing work. One place is available for user-controlled admission, which means that the patient can admit themselves directly to the department for a maximum of three days, up to three times a month. As a caregiver, it is important that you have a strong interest in people, patience, and the ability to empathize with others' situations.

We are now looking for a caregiver to join our team! The position is a permanent full-time employment with a start date to be agreed upon.

Job Responsibilities

As a caregiver, you will work with:

• psychiatric care
• ADL care
• supportive conversations and motivational talks
• conducting various assessments
• care plans and nursing plans
• anamnesis
• epicrisis
• anxiety management
• sleep information
• participating in rounds
• documentation
• supervising students and introducing new employees

It is important to contribute to good collaboration and a positive work environment. The position involves working evenings, nights, and 2 out of 5 weekends. You will receive supervision every other week.

We are looking for someone who

• is a trained caregiver
• has good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written

It is an advantage if you

• have work experience in psychiatry
• have additional language skills
