The County Hospital Somatics coordinates the specialized somatic care in Region Västernorrland. The somatic area consists of eleven county hospital operations. These operations are conducted at three hospitals: Sundsvall, Sollefteå, and Örnsköldsvik, along with several outpatient clinics located in various towns in the region. The area employs approximately 2,400 staff.

The surgical department is an inpatient department for patients within the surgical, urology, and ear-nose-throat clinics. The surgical department in Örnsköldsvik has 20 beds with a focus on acute and elective surgery / ENT patients as well as palliative care.

We are now looking for a nurse to join the Surgical Department in Örnsköldsvik. The position is a permanent employment with a start date to be agreed upon.

Job Responsibilities

As a nurse in the surgical department, you will be responsible for the care of the department's patients. Our goal is to always start from the patient's needs, and we strive for patient-centered teamwork where tasks are integrated and staff complement each other. We offer an exciting and varied job where you will be involved in the unit's development work.

Both experienced nurses and those new to the profession can contribute to our operations. Here, you are part of a multidisciplinary team. We offer opportunities for professional development.
