Do you want to help make digital solutions accessible to everyone? We are now looking for an accessibility specialist with a deep understanding of both user experience and legal requirements - and who wants to strengthen our team in digital accessibility!

About the role

As an accessibility specialist at Frontwalker, you will work closely with our clients to create and implement strategies that make their digital services accessible to all – and ensure compliance with both the DOS Act (The Accessibility to Digital Public Services Act) and the EU Accessibility Directive (European Accessibility Act/LPTT). The role encompasses websites, apps, and documents – you will also be accessibility testing and adapting PDFs, Word, and PowerPoint files.

Your tasks

• Conduct manual and automated tests of websites, e-commerce, and digital services
• Accessibility test and adapt documents (e.g., PDF, Word, PowerPoint) according to applicable standards
• Produce clear reports and recommendations that are easy to act upon
• Provide strategic advice and training to clients
• Ensure accessibility is integrated into UX and UI processes
• Stay updated on laws, standards, and industry best practices

We believe you have

• Several years of experience in web development, UX/UI design, web editing, or accessibility work
• Good understanding of applicable directives and legislation in the field of accessibility
• Experience working with accessible documents (PDF/Office)
• Ability to communicate and build trust with clients
• Pedagogical ability to translate technical issues into practical solutions
• Experience working collaboratively with both designers and developers

Meritorious

• Certifications such as CPACC, WAS, ADS, or equivalent
• Experience from the public sector and procurement
• Experience with accessibility testing tools
